-General Info-
The Philippine Mission Trip: August 12-24! This will be 10 days including 2 days for travel. (about a week)
Location: Davao in the Southern Philippines

The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church , as articulated in
the church's mission statement, is to proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel in the context of the Three Angels' messages of Revelation
14:6-12. The commission of Jesus Christ compels us to lead others to accept Jesus as their personal savior and to unite with His church, and nurture them in preparation for His soon return. That's at the heart of
the church's mission and is accomplished through preaching, teaching
and healing ministries.

There will be a small group meeting on Every Wednesday until the Mission Trip. This will be at Pastor's home at 7pm.

When we do VBS in the Philippines, we are expecting to cover the lesson in 3 different areas. They are listed below with the indicated people assigned to them.
Music (3) - Alice Jeong, Kat Eun, Christina Jeong, Brian Kim
-Everyone needs to be singing along and encouraging the kids to sing but these 4 people will be up in front who are VERY enthusiastic about singing and doing the hand motions to the songs. They will need to know the VBS songs well and also have to announce what the kids are going to do for the rest of the day.
Crafts + Games/Activities (2) - Cindy Suh, Regina Lee
-Two people need to think up one game that the kids can play together for that day. They are in charge of gathering the items necessary for the game, explaining it, and playing with the kids until it's time to rotate. They're also in charge of laying out crafts and showing the kids what to do.
Skit (4-8) - Everyone Else + Leaders: Curtis Eun, Danielle Chung
-This group acts out the Bible Story of the day to the kids and comes up with questions to ask the kids to see if they were actually paying attention.
